END THE
OPIOID CRISIS
What I'd do:
Very few Ohioans haven’t been touched by the opioid crisis. It is a national emergency that demands immediate and compassionate action. Over the past decade, opioid addiction has devastated countless families and communities, leading to a surge in overdose deaths and placing immense strain on our healthcare system. This crisis has been fueled by corporate greed, inadequate healthcare access, and a lack of mental health support.
As your Senator, I pledge to tackle this epidemic head-on. We will hold pharmaceutical companies accountable, expand access to addiction treatment and mental health services, and invest in comprehensive harm reduction programs. It’s time for a compassionate, evidence-based approach that prioritizes the health and well-being of our communities.
