IMPROVE OUR
INFRASTRUCTURE
What I'd do:
Southeast Ohio used to lead the world in industry and be a hub for manufacturing. As the rest of the state has moved forward, we have been left behind. Outside of Toledo, they're building one of the largest solar manufacturing plants. Outside of Columbus, there's a 28 billion dollar investment from Intel. We can capitalize on this economic renewal in Southeast Ohio, but it starts with improving our roads, bridges, and ports.

Rebuild our Roads and Bridges:
There has been an influx of federal money into Ohio to rebuild our hard infrastructure. As your State Senator, I will fight to bring as much of that back to Southeast Ohio to improve our roads and bridges. We must make sure that routes like Routes 7, 13, 22, and 78, are ready for new industry.

Broadband:
We cannot have an economy of the future in Southeast Ohio without investment in high-speed broadband. Companies and consumers alike need the Internet, and we need to ensure that it's not only available but affordable. Building the lines necessary creates new jobs, and having increased internet access creates new jobs. It's common sense that we get this done.
